Late may Pier Fishing Tips needed

Hey guys!

I am going to be in Myrtle for Memorial day weekend and want to get in as much fishing as possible. Can anyone let me know what will be biting and what they will be biting on? I will take any tips I can get. I also plan on doing a little surf fishing, so anything anyone can tell me on this would be great too.

I was down there just last week and not to much was going on. I went to spring made pier and got in on some spanish mackerel. Hook them on a jig set up. Hook up on some flounder at pawleys island. Did see a man pull in a nice black drum surf fishing. The wind and the water was still in a southern pattern when I was there. But at the end of the week it was in a northwestern pattern. That means the fishing will pick up. I went down a week to early this year. The blue were bitting good. Seen 3 between 7 and 9 lbs pulled in on the end of the pier.Good luck if you get this before you go>>>
