Carp Help

I would like to get into some big carp here in Colorado, and I was woundering if anyone has any advice for me for where to go, what type of bait to use, etc... any advice helps. Thanks

Many carp can be found at sawhill and walden ponds east of Boulder. Most all the ponds are artificial lures and flies only though. But I've got them on cotton seed flies and nymphs. Also got them on small original floater Rapalas going real slow later in the evenings.

Also at Boulder res at the inlet. Take two poles out there. Rig a worm or some bait and a weight on one and chuck it out there and rig a jig on the other (curly tail or tube jig, white and/or chartruese) tipped with a little bit of worm. You'll be able to get carp, walleyes, cats, smallies and maybe even a brown doing that. Spent a lot of time out there back in my colllege days (when I should have been studying).
