Max lung inflation pressure?
#1
Anyone know what the average non-smoking joe can blow? We're not talking Mr Blow-up-a-hot-water-bottle-Joe here... Will it always be safe pressure if we only use lung power to top off a tube?

Just wondering...

[cool][#0000ff]The max rated air pressure suggested for most tubes is around 4 pounds. Few humans can puff that kind of pressure...maybe two or three. That will be enough to get you afloat, but not as much as you should have. The cover should be firm to the touch for best floatation and maneuvering. If you are not fully inflated, your craft will ride lower in the water, with more surface in contact with the water and you will have to kick harder to propel yourself.[/#0000ff]

I always leave my tube about 1/2 inflated when storing it, so when I take it out I very seldom take a pump and top it of fairly easily.
