The View on Tues.

Hit pineview after work tues. with my son. Looking for some crappie or perch for a meal, we hit the usual willow stickups and such. No luck--Moved around and chucked some stuff for tigers and smallies--No luck--About an hour fore dark my boy nailed a couple of nice smallies about 2 to 2.5 lbs on two different colored 1/8 oz jigs. I switched from crank bait to texas rigged worm free fall with no weight and grabbed a 6 or 8 lb tiger-Thats all folks, not a bust but not great. Boat traffic not too bad, lots of boats but most were beached. Gary

Thanks for posting your report and welcome to the site Portofthesea. Even though the catching was slow, at least you and your son caught a few. During the week is probably the best time to fish the View, weekends are tough[unimpressed]. WH2
