The boat was tucked away for the winter all clean and winterized, when lo and behold the temps went to 50+. Bobct got the fever and emails me at 4:30am Monday to ask me to go fishing one last time. Tempting, but not for me. He headed out and found two other boats in the ramp as well. Not alone on the lost brain cell crowd. LOL He tries all the proven areas and decides that by 1:00pm he's out of there. 10 mins. till 1 he takes off the trailer on his hair jig and sends it down. The wind held up for a few mins. and he feels a tug, battle on. He fights it to the side, goes to the back as he lifts up the motor. Back to the front then goes under the boat with the rod bent over. Takes a few mins., but the fish gives up and comes into the net. 21" smallie, NICE. But it only weighs 3.5lbs.[crazy] Nice way to end the season.
