Nice bass! You don't hear of them being caught via the ice too often.

Looks like you were in the second lake or the south one, that correct. Where were most people at, and was any one catching any bluegill or crappie?

Come on that aint 16, I'd give that a 19 if it was me, but since you've shown proof give it the the 17 it truly is. Nice catch, and thanx for the info.[fishin]

Nice job and thanks for the pictures. Sure get's my appetite going for some fishing down south. I agree with Belasko sure is a good looking bass. I have never caught a bass through the ice!

Nice Bass, probably a female. Next time you might want to consider releasing it so it can spawn and replenish the lake. You had a camera so proof was not an issue.
Just a thought!! [signature]

What none of us can enjoy a nice bass dinner anymore. I think that's why they PLANT them.[mad]
Once again nice catch. And how did it taste. [signature]

NICE. I wonder why nobody catches any bass in Ririe. I know there are tons of them in there. Does anybody know where they are in the winter?? Here is a link to a cool video of a small mouth through the ice.

I think the bass in Ririe must hang out past the do not pass this point sign.[:p] I have seen a couple of them pulled through the ice over the years, but not many it is kind of a mystery.
Congrats on the bass from Twin. Windriver [signature]

[pirate] They DO NOT PLANT . They must fend for themselves and reproduce the old fashioned way. That's why it's hard for many of us to understand why people kill the large females. If it happens often enough, there will not be many bass in the future for anyone to catch.

i go over there in the summer and can catch 25 of them like that in an afternoon, i dont there is much of a shortage. If they dont plant them i am not sure how they would get in there with the kind of numbers they have.

I'm sorry but anywhere bass live they seam to thrive, more people need to eat them it seems to me. What's the difference anyway it is a right we have to enjoy a fish here and there, it's not like we're one of those commercial fishermen that you should really be concerned about. So anyway shut up It's not the input he was looking for in the first place, if you don't want to comment on his fish get out of here.
p.s. hug that tree a little tighter for me[pirate][pirate][pirate][pirate] [signature]
