So I took a day of vacation on Friday just to go fishing. I decided to fish a lake close to where I live. Started out SLOW, then really picked up. I caught my first two on a bass colored crankbait. Then several more one a white spinnerbait. No giants but on my last cast I landed one around 3 1/2 pounds. I didn see something really cool happen right beside my boat. I fishing in front of this dock when about 3 feet to my left I heard this huge splash. I sounded like someone threw a cinder block in the water. At first I thought it was possibly a carp or something. But after watching for a moment, I saw a bream about the size of my hand jump out of the water followed by a largemouth around 4 1/2 to 5 pounds come out right behind it. I could have easily touched them with my rod tip. emoPoke I thought any minute they going to jump in the boat. This happend about 3 or 4 times. I started throwing everything trying to catch that bass but I guess it was full of bream. I have seen bass chasing other fish but never right at that boat for that long. I still considered it a great day just being outdoors enjoying what the lord made. Sorry no pictures, it's hard to take a picture in a two man boat by yourself.
