headed down to hbsp this am with glockjr , and picked up knight rider at the ramp for some crappie fishing/ more learning with the side imager . it was a little cooler than expected and that first run to a favorite main lake dock was numbing to say the least, but well worth it..... well at least for mike and william it was ... right off the bat they starting hooking into fish while i sat there hauling water .... casting in the same spot with the same emoBadLanguage jig ..... but it was worth it to see william haul in not one but two HOFjr worthy crappie emoDance one at 13" and the other 12" .

after they had caught 20 or so throwbacks and 6 keepers i finally got in the groove and put a few in the boat. then the wind picked up and made fishing the main lake tough. we went to the wolftiever bridge where
the side imager revealed the exact location of where and how they where holding (see pic) got a few keepers there on a 10 count with BG shads and tube jigs(red/yellow) but the wind was getting us good there too.

up into the creek we went to check on some docks but all we found up there where really small throwbacks. back to the bridge where we picked up a few more keepers and it was time to get mike back to the dock.

william and i had just a little more time left and the wind had died down so we headed over to harrison bluff so i could see what it looked like on the SI .... hmmmm that looks like fish ... cast there william ... fish on !

we picked up 2 more keepers on the bluff and it was time for us to go as well.

ended the day with 14 keepers and over 40 throw backs , most of the keepers were williams plus he big fished both me and mike emoThumbsup

thanks for joining us mike it was fun emoTongue

oh william just couldnt stand it so as soon as they were fillet 5 of em hit the skillet ....
