where to buy frozen anchovy

just moved to vegas and was planning on doing some shore fishing first after reading all the great posts here. Can anyone tell me where I can buy frozen anchovy in Vegas? Been to almost every grocery, walmart ... cant seem to find it ... thanks

If you head toward the lake, almost any conveniece store near there will have them. Coming through Boulder City, you can stop at the Rebel coming into town or the Albertsons. If you come out Lake Mead in Henderson, you can stop at Albertsons or the boat storage (can't remember the name) just past Boulder Highway. If you head out through Lake Mead Blvd in North Las Vegas, there are boat stores just past nellis that sell them.

If you are @ Nellis and Lake Mead head east on lake Mead and on the right side is a bait shop called Sandy cove bait & tackle. They have plenty of anchovies and even live minnows which work great and are cheap. Just up a couple blocks from there is a 7=11 on your left and they carry anchovies too. I dont know what side of town you live on but the Walmart at Decatur & 215 (North west ) sells anchovies in the fishing department.

Hello! We purchase ours at the Walmart on Eastern, behind the airport. They also have them at the Walmart off Sunset - across from Galeria Mall. Or, the Walmart in Henderson, on Boulder Hwy.

At Lake Mead Blvd and Boulder Highway you can purchase at the Food4Less. Best price I've found.
