hey eveyeryone. my name is carlos i just moved to emmett, idaho less than a week ago. im looking for any type of fishing spots. i love trout fishing but i hear the salmon fishing is the way to go. im looking for someone to show me the spots around here or anywhere anyone care too meet up for a day of fishing[fishin].

Welcome to the board cleverfisherman. Not as many people on your side of the state in here, but there are a few. If you make it over to S.E. Idaho I'm sure a lot of us could hook you up[

hey bro thanks for replying. i have no idea where the S.E. part of idaho is but im down to take a trip if the fishing good you know? what type of fishing do you do. ad is there anything special such as lure bait anything else i need to stock up on.

Welcome to the forum. There are all kinds of fish and different kinds of fishing in Idaho. Trout, Bass, Crappie, Catfish, Steelhead, Salmon, etc...
There are just as many different kinds of fishing. Fly, Lure, Bait, Trolling, and everything in between. Hey there Carlos, welcome to Emmett. We should hook up soon. I'll get you dialed in on the Emmett waters. You available to walk some banks this Thursday or Friday. We could hit the river and some local ponds. Bass would be the target, but trout will also be on the menu.

I fish around emmett quite a lot during the summer below the dam for bass and catfish. I dont know much about salmon or trout fishing around the southwest though. [signature]

No problem. Once the water warms up i can take you down to my spot over at lake lowell. It seems like every bass i catch is at least 3 lbs and every cat is about 10.

I live over by the water tower by the hospital, where abouts are you? We could possible hook up Friday. I'll give you a call tonight around 8-9. I can at least point you in some good directions, and hopefully catch a few biggies.
