My son wants to know what the "lesbian romance" club is.
The thread about Rockport was open and at the top was an ad for some kind of romance club with pictures of members. He dosn't understand what kind of club, but he likes clubs and asked about it.

DaveT? Angler?

Has BFT really gone to having ads from GLTB sexual sites on it? If so, that kind of runs against what the UT board has been trying to do for the past years I've been a member.

What's up with that.

thanks for noticing that and speaking up. I did not see that add but have noticed some in the past that I think might be better on another website.

Thank you very much for lettingus know!!! We have been running ads in partnership with Google who is usually pretty strict about this, I will find out who this isand have them blacklisted.

PLEASE anyone who sees any ads like this let us know, we have no intrest at all in running any of these types of ads!!

He doesn't read that well yet. It was the club word that drew him in. We are entered in the Willard contest, so he wants to register and has been reading over my sholder on BFT.
It was when he asked what l-e-s-b-i-a-n spelled that I looked up and noticed the ad, if there had been a viagra club he would have keyed in on that too.

No harm, no foul. I explained that it is when two women live together like Michael and Douglas do. (accross the street long term couple)

I've missed that one.... thank goodness!

I always thought ads on pages were supposed to be geared towards the subject of that page. It seemed really weird when they had dating advertisements - not so much for the topic, but they were all done in pink swirls, flowers and hearts! I highly doubt a manly man is gonna be drawn to that.
Also, there was a Nordstrom (sp?) Rack ad a few days ago. I figure the only reason a man might shop there, is to get panty hose for that one trick where you put meat in it, and catch cat fish without losing to much of the bait (or some method like that... I can't remember exactly how it works, just that it uses hose)

Though for the most part, I just ignore 'em. Still think it'd be nice to have a paid membership option so that they can be taken away besides pop-ups (I need my pop-ups actuve for a chat program/room I frequent)
