<br /> The first 13 fish this afternoon came rather quickly, but the last 2 took a while. Early on I was fishing blowdowns in 15’ +- of water. I lost a ton of jigs, but caught fish somewhat slowly but consistently. I don’t know why I keep doing this, but I once again tried to think like a fish, and decided that it had warmed up enough that any self respecting crappie in the middle of April would be in shallow water. I found some small fish there,. but covered a lot of water before I found the last 2 keepers.. I prefer to think that I’m too evolved to empathize with a fish than to think that a creature with a brain the size of the nail on my little finger is smarter than me. Ringer stinngers on a 0 to 4 count was the ticket today.
