Well it was about 7:00 a.m. when MrWiskers arose from his Nerd Cave, he took off his Transformer Pajamas and got his fishing gear on and met my buddy Patrick (pbobo) and me down at Riverpark. Spaaaats were our target and we ran immediately to Moc Bend. Well Wiskers not only wears ugly hats, but he is a terrible guide too. All he put me on was a few 4" inch spat toads and one nice 2.5 lb spot. I actually can't credit him for that one as he was on the phone with work (what is that?) and not paying attention when I nailed that little pig. He did make it up to me by giving me a pack of crackers. Pbobo is getting back into the fishing game and he found every rock and snag that is at the bottom of the river. Seriously though it was a fun 4 hours, and we boated 19 spaaats and 2 rock bass. Our best five probably weighed 4.3 lbs, and our 19 spots probably weighed 11.21 lbs. A typical Wiskers day. Lures were mainly DJW spinnerbaits and jigs. When they'd hit they'd hit hard as one nasty spot ripped the blade off of my spinnerbait. Water temp was cool, 59 degrees, and the current slowed way down at 8:30. The combination of the two didn't help us out much. We did have a great time, as I always do with Wiskers... plenty of nerdy engineer talk and making fun of Beetlespin and Jmax emoThumbsup emoAngler emoApplause

Thanks Michael, and we'll do it again soon. Enjoy the pics...Michael loves my DJW visor.
