beetlespin, Chickamauga-CBA, Bass, 4/18, Fishinvol
#1
We did some practicing earlier in the week and thought we had some stuff figured out but things changed for us saturday. Of course having blastoff #163 kind of makes spot selection difficult. I think we caught every single male bass on the lake. We had one fish about 3.5 lbs and the rest were basically 2 pounders. We flipped all day. Caught lots of fish but not the right ones. We fished our A$$ES off trying to improve our limit. Unfortunately we fished too hard and lost track of time and got back to the weigh in two minutes late. That got our massive 11.93 lb stringer disqualified. I would like to have had the points but feel worse for fishinvol since it was his first one this year and I lost track of time trying to catch us a big one. We might have made it on time if i could have laid the coal to it but there were just too many cruisers and pleasure boats to risk it. Had fun anyway.
