any other states have trouble with the comeran[the bird]i hope i spelled that right anyways these long legged birds eat fish all day non-stop and we can't do anything about it..the trout farms can legally shot them but nobody else can..they eat up alot of trout and anything else they can get..they came from asia i think..there population keeps growing every year..?/?

build a pond in your back yard, load it with carp, and pick them off as they come?

They are the most worthless piece of sh^% birds on the face of the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I try and kill a few while duck hunting every year. On accident of course.[angelic]

i take it there a problem were your at too..them birds aint nothing but skin and bone as many fish as they eat they should be fat..

our problem in idaho is the pelicans. They come and eat the cutts while they are getting ready to spawn. But the idaho f&g is trying to get permission from the fedral fish and wildlife to kill some so we only have like 2800 nesting pelicans in the state.

thats good ther actualy doing something about it..blue herons are another of our pesky fish eating birds i think id have more respect for pelicans at least..

According to Utah Division of Natural (Wildlife) Resources, they're "uncommon" and "rare". I wonder when that was updated! If it's the bird I'm thinking of, they steal fish out of community ponds, too, which is where I do most of my fishing!
