BFT "mini" Lake Lowell get together
#1
Moderator, please delete the "IBT" post[:/]

Since there is a 100 boat tournament on April 18th I propose some of us get together Saturday April 25 at Lake Lowell. It could be as simple as just meeting in the morning to drink coffee, meet & go fishing or we could have a shore lunch etc etc?

Bassin' Bob said he was in. Anybody else?

As the date gets closer I might be able to commit. With my current situation of a 9 day old at home I don't dare ask if I can go fishing....yet.....

I would be up for that. I live in Caldwell so its close. I have a great spot at the lake but i think the water may be too high for it right now.

So how many will be in tubes, pontoons and boats?

I propose we meet at Access #1 on the south end of the Lake at 8:00 AM April 24th. I will bring a dozen doughnuts and everyone bring thier own coffee.

Or????????

Do you have any waders?

I'd rather meet at the Caldwell ramp. I have a bass boat and would rather launch at that ramp. I may be with my son from AZ and his bass boat or we may have both there.

BTW April 24th is a Friday. Did you mean April 25th, Saturday??

I meant Saturday. Sorry for the confusion.
Meeting at the Caldwell ramp is OK with me. I can always drive around an launch my pontoon boat at the other end.

Any other opinions on this?

Bob how did the bass tournament go?

OK, let's meet at the Caldwell ramp at 8:00 AM Saturday morning. I'll bring a dozen doughnuts, you guys bring your own coffee. I'll have a tan Ford Taurus with a yellow pontoon boat on top. It will be hard to miss me.

We can shoot the breeze then go fishing. Maybe meet up later and compare notes or something. Be sure to bring cameras to get lots of pictures to post!

Hi All

It was great fun to meet my Big Fish Buddies. Let's do it again soon.

I only fished Lowell for about 1 1/2 hours on Saturday....got a little cold and windy for my old bones. But I did catch one nice Bass. I have attached a poor photo. New camera phone ....still trying to get the hang of it.

Keep your lines wet !!

Well Forgiven caught a nice bass right near where we put in, I was too far away for a picture[frown] After Fishtoe left the wind picked up more and it was turning into more work than fun, so we headed in. The water was 52 deg and stained but when it warms up it should be a blast!

Forgiven & I went down & fished the outlet hoping for some crappie, but did catch some nice bullheads. I do love to eat them bullheads.

It was awsome to meet the guys and shre some good talk. I can't wait till the next one and wish I could make the one at Preston in May.

Made some new friends and fishin partners this weekend and thats what this oru is all about.

I need to get the pictures down loaded, so will do that soon.
