started off the day on a main channel hump near Harrison Bay and boated 13 fish right off the bat all on Carolina Rigs.. No size to them but a lot of good fighting spots.. Decided to try some new water and fished deep points and humps all the way to grasshopper creek.. Did manage to find two real productive areas one was a deep water brush pile and the other a submerged island.. Fished our way back from Grasshopper and called it a day around 630.. The wind and boats made it tough fishing the deep water spots on the main lake but i think we have a few spots to produce some fish for Friday i hope.. We caught around 30 fish today but only two keepers unfortunately so hopefully Friday some of the big fish will move in .. Biggest was 2.6
All fish caught on Carolina Rigs on about 5 different types of plastic baits.. After today i am a firm believer in Tungsten weights.. Andrew had told me about them so I picked up and a few yes they are expensive but man you can really feel the bottom and what you are dragging with them.. Lost two early and only had 3 but managed to keep the last one the rest of the day luckily..
See some of you guys Friday night will be my 1st CFF tournament will be looknig forward to it just hope we can manage a respectful weight emoBang

http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341...ge5-31.jpg
