My son-in-law Jordan was in for the weekend so we decided to give the bass a try. We started around 7:00 am on the Nick fishing on a flat with grass on it. The water temp was 73 when we started and was 76 when we finished at 1:00 in the evening. The water was very clear with visibility of several feet. We fished depths from 12' to 2 1/2' using a variety of baits. I used a C-rigged worm and lizard the whole time while Jordan used swim baits, in line spinners, buzz bait, and T-rigged worms. Most of our fish came on the soft plastic worms. We had a great time and boated 22 bass including 5 keepers over 15". We had several more fish hooked, but lost them right at the boat. Our 5 would have only gone 12 lbs or so but we had a really fun day. The weather was perfect and Jordan is catching on to this bass fishing thing very well. The pic is Jordan with 2 of our 5 keepers. All the keepers were pretty much the same size, from just over 15" to almost 18". The fish were really colored nice and looked fat and healthy. All fished released in great condition to fight another day!
