It was a great eveining on the lake. Brandon and I had a plan that included getting a daytime limit and then working for upgrades in the night. We started on a mid lake hump with cranks, rigs and swim baits with only several short fish to show for it. We then moved to a creek and worked some brush and shallow grass flats to no avail. Ran down lake and got blown around for a while hitting deep structure and working a few docks where Brandon finally put a couple keepers in the box. Hit several more areas but could never get anything else going. Caught short fish all night using blades, t-rigged lizards, DJW jigs, swim baits, cranks and shakey heads. Probably should have stayed with the spinnerbaits more. Nontheless, we had a great time and I had a blast spending time with one of my closest buddies. Thanks to all that fished with us and congrats to those that took home the $$$. I really enjoyed the two hours during sign up listening to the stories and laughs and hanging out with everyone. Look forward to seeing everyone on July 18 at Nickajack for a morning dogfight. Thanks, Al
