Well we got on the water and started fishing about 6:00 pm and fished until 9:30 pm Water Temps were anywhere from 80 to 82 degrees everywhere we fished. First hour was pretty slow we caught 2 fish mine was a little short fish Chandler's was a solid 3lber these were caught on rattle traps in 2-6 feet of water close to the channel drop. We decided to go to another spot and it started slow but picked up the last hour and a half boating somewhere around 20-30 fish had a bunch of short fish and eight solid Keepers our best 5 was right at 15lbs just couldn't get the big one to bite tonight. In our second spot was a shallow water flat water was 1-4 feet all fish were caught on "BUBBLE GUM TRICK WORM" emoPoke, it was actually rattle traps, hard swim baits, and one on a fluke. The kitchen sink was tried especially for the top water bite but not even a blow up. emoBang I have not fished the Nick much at all this year maybe 3 or 4 times but I will definitely have to go back soon.
