Tried to get an early start with YB today and after hunting the ramp and touring the back roads of Marion County, the early start got to be a late start.<br /><br />Anyway, we tried new areas and had small success and decided to move before it got hot....too late it got hot anyway. emoFish <br /><br />So we went to try bridges and had no luck in the channel and I was resigned for a mediocre day.<br /><br />Then we went to secret hole #2 and hunted all the area with no luck.<br />We were looking deep and we tried a little shallower spot and in a 15 square foot area and there they were! emoAngler <br /><br />We ended up with 40&#43; 2 real nice &#39;ens and some bass busting minnows. Had to leave as it got HOT emoSun <br /><br />My partner was the hot hand today, but I finally got into my swing later and we both ended up having fun.<br /><br />My advice: go early and quit early in this heat <br />1/16 was ok, but 1/32 was better and anything with a tail light was good emoDance
