Murdock, chick, Crappie, 7/3/09, Duck & Wyatt
#1
Put in at 6:00 am and ran out into the river for some dock shooting. Started out great but slowed down after about 8 am. Water temp 81, BG blue with chart. salve, 1/32 jig. This was Wyatt's first attempt at shooting docks, he's 11, so there was quite a learning curve, but there was with me too. We still managed to boat 27 crappie w/16 being keepers. We took 8 home between 11 & 131/2 for supper. Gorgeous morning on the water until Macale's navy showed up and off we went. Count was 8 to 10 but the bite was pretty aggressive at times. Boat ran great, spent time with my son and grandson and we caught fish. How much more blessed could we be?
