Jason and I got out about 3:30 and went to one of my favorite humps and the schoolers were there. Same place my spinning rod got pulled in off the boat. We caught some decent fish and tried some different spots without much luck and before dark went up river towards HBSP and got on some more schoolers and caught several more on plastics and topwater. We didn't get much size but good numbers. The biggest fish were in the 3# range. The coolest thing I've seen in a while Jason had on a topwater plug and a smallmouth hit it like a missile and jumped nearly 2 ft. out of the water, not on the hookset but on the strike. i thought that was neat. Water temps in the low 80s and we fished 9 to 14 FOW. Had a good relaxing time. emoThumbsup
