Got up early to get some number 1 hole time. Water was calm and glassy and water was pulling out of the lake.

I tried all my favorite colors and lures, but it wasn't
happening. My watch said it was supposed to be happening, so I settled with blue thunder and blue pearl and caught everything.

I started with a nice crappie and the proceeded to catch a yellow bass 2 rock bass, 3 largemouth and 9 little spots on a mini pop-r. Then the bream bite picked up and I ended up with 10 and quit counting. The crappie picked back up with keeper blacks and almost keeper whites, 9 in all.

Then it got to be slime time as I hooked 2 LARGE blue cats emoDoh , As an experiment I wanted to see if fish would bite my unretied slightly slimed BG after the first cat and sure enough nothing would touch it....until another blue did. I retied and got into some more fish before quitting at noon.

1/16 was better than 1/32 and any color was good as long as it was blue.

emoAngler
