Shane and I hit the water around 3:30 this afternoon and fished close to dark.

The fish are really full or something up there. They do not want to bite... in all those hours of fishing I had only caught 4 spots with the better 3 of them going 16-17 inches. They came off finesse worms texas rigged. Those were good solid 2-2.5lb fish they were full of shad.
It was nice out there weather wise but I think the fishing is messed up weather wise. The always lock jaw on Parksville with cooler weather and water temps... they seem to like it from 60-75F water temps or 90-95F water temps, but anything in between or lower they always lockjaw... emoBang The water temp today was around 80F up there, NOT GOOD!

Anyways the Fall colors are already starting to show just a tad bit and pleasure boaters are slowing down... maybe the Fall and Winter fishing will be better, but until then it will be time to fish the Chick.
