fishing in october
#1
heading to slc. in mid october just wondering how the fishing will be this time of year.
im planning on hitting the weeb. and the middle provo.
I usually fish both those rivers quite often my wife has relatives in slc. that she wants to see. so coming from southern nv. I always take my gear.(thank the good lord for relatives lol.[Wink]) I know those rivers fairly well but have never fished them this late in the season.
I normally nymph so I think that would be the way to go this time of year. any suggestions would be great. thanks.

The browns will be swinging into spawn mode and be very aggresive. Try throwing some big streamers like a bunny leach or zonker. Best time of year to catch big browns.

OCTOBER FEST!!! Screw Christmas, October is the most wonderful time of the year (song)! [laugh] For big Browns that is! Stick to your nymphing, you'll get them. Streamers when you want to get your arm ripped off by a pumped up brown!!! Love it!
