We decided this morning that we was'nt gonna go far from the ramp since rain was headed our way. We fished around kings point and a few other spots with no luck until about 11 oclock. We went back down towards the ramp and located some good fish schooled up. We caught a quick limit and culled 3 or 4 in the last hour. All fish were caught over 30+ feet deep and came on spooks and worms. Water temp was 78. Ended the day with our best 3 weighing 8 and some change, good enough for 3rd place. Had a great time despite the rain! Oh yeah and my partner caught about a 4 ft gar on a crankbait. That was a pretty funny sight, especially when he decided he was'nt gonna let that gar have his bait.
