Penn Sargus, hands down.

Like you said, the others make good reels too, and this is a very opinionative and arguementative subject since the opinions of each angler are based on personal experiance.

I can tell you that i've owned and abused most of those brands, and since i've stumbled onto the Sargus, i'm not interested in another spinning reel; with the exception of maybe a Fin Nor offshore or Ahab.

PENN SARGUS AKA SG6000 its AWSOME FOR UNDER 150 its hands down i own one and my papaw and cuz have one were all swtiching saltwater to PENN SARGUS AKA SG6000

My go to reel is a Shimano Stradic 3000. It's like a fine watch, pure art.
