Got the call yesterday about meeting up with labman at CFP around daybreak.<br />So we left with targeting crappie in mind and went to shoot a dock.<br />After a few dozen shots, it was looking slow so we left and hit a training dock to see if the crappie were still in the lake.<br />They were and after around 10 or so with a couple of nice sized keepers, we went in search of other places to try.<br />We saw DK and trev and said hello and went to a spot lm wanted to try.<br />Once again we were getting slow to nothing for our efforts and made a major change of plans and upriver we went. <br /><br />That G-3 was a nice ride and we stopped and shot another dock wherein dwelled a Crab.<br />His karma was bad and we didn&#39;t need anymore manly discipline so we eased into a spot that we knew might work out for us and then we were onto bigger and better fish.<br /><br />I gave up on the32 and went to a 16 with 6lb test and with a deep set started getting some nice fish. 12-13 inch fish every time for a while and had one a quarter inch shy of a TARP. My partner/captain picked up a few as well as a nice bass, so we loaded up there before we went hunting.<br /><br />We moved to many different places including a very nice bluff before calling it a day.<br /><br />A bream, blue cat, bass (one with a hole bit out of him under his dorsal about an inch around) more bass that lm picked up and about 37 crappie with 30 being good keepers.<br />Would made a nice mess, but all were released to grow bigger!<br /><br />Thank you very much for the ride and the fishing today!<br />I definitely had a very good time and I hope we can do this again!<br />Great day!<br /><br />Oh yeah crystal with no tail light was my favorite BG today
