Started feeling sick, having withdrawals and realized I needed a fix. Like a junkie with a habit I needed to stretch a line. Ran out to the lake for a quickie that was only 1 and a 1/2 hours this evening. Started with a shakey head and a four inch finese worm but only managed one. Changed locations and hit some grass flats. Found a very slow bite but they were there. Managed five on a spook Jr with the biggest only going about 2.5 lbs. Did have one that looked to be about 3.25 lbs but it got off by the boat. Tried a worm t-rigged but nothing so I went back to the spook. Nice evening out for only a short trip. On the way back in I hit one of my favorite docks and caught two slabs and lost one other. Also got a bream, all on a crappie assassin. Headed in and called it a day early cause it looked like rain but it missed me. emoRolleyes Jmax
