Spent the Muzzy hunt with 3 buddys that filled their tags with two 3 points and a fork horn.
Then it was our turn for the buck bull combo hunt.
Lots of elk and darn few deer where we were at.
2nd day I filled my elk tag with a 5 point bull with a 227 yard shot. Man I'm telling you that 300 WSM is like a lightning bolt on elk [cool]
My son tagged a pig of a 4 point buck. 23 1/2 inches wide, heavy horned and 201 pounds hanging weight. Thats with the head, hide and legs off.
The last day my wife and son finished filling the freezer. Debby got a fork horn buck and Mike shot a spike bull.
Good times on the mountain. Nice weather and a great camp.
Now it's back for a little more walleye hunting [Wink]

Very nice. I got skunked. Had a great family hunt however. Could have shot a fork horn on the muzzelloader but didn't. Still have extended archery if duck hunting doesn't take over my life.
