Got started around 8:00 by putting in at soddy creek. We ran up river to some docks that I had caught a few crappie on the last time I went out. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to find any good docks to shoot that had more than 7 or 8 feet of water so I decided to try some bluffs down by the nuke plant. The current was RIPPING! About that time I decided to call dickie and see if he had any suggestions while on the phone with Dickie I managed to lose a rod 
. He gave me a couple of places to try but they were all occupied when I went by. I called and talked to billy and he told me about a dock to try before I left for the day. The fish were stacked up there and we ended up with several keepers and plenty of throwbacks. Big fish of the day was a 13.5 incher. All in all not a great trip but at least we caught a few.
