Got to the water around 8am, water temp was around 55F WEnt up river to a dock, caught a few small crappie and one white bass. WEnt on to Soddy creek and fished some vertical structure. Caught 6 keepers and a good bit of small ones. WE did not get a bit and then around 10 am the bite turned on and we were catching like crazy for about 30 minutes. Finished on a dock near the ramp after trying a couple other spots for a little. Caught 2 more keepers and a shorty. All fish caught on a pan fish look alike. not swim tail but short little stub tail. Good to be back on the lake catching some fish, I missed it big time. Total 8 keepers and about 12 or a few more non. Can't wait until I get a limit on those little suckers. Fish were caught on 1/32, the 1/16 would not get them for us today / Count was 20 and 12. There was a guy near us catching a bunch on minnows 12ft down, but when our fish turned off his fish turned off. Crazy. Hope this helps someone!
