Chesterfield/Devil Reports
#1
Well even though it snowed like crazy it was worth it to get out and fish all day. Got to Chesterfield just after 8:00 due to the roads, and the fishing was great till 11:00 then it slowed down, but still an occasional fish until we left by 12:30. We iced 18 footballs, and had a great time. Ice a solid 12' inches, and everything worked well, but chartruse tipped with crawler did the best. Lots of people out today.

Devil Creek:

Fishing was very fast as we got set up by 3;00pm; missed a lot due to the soft bite, but still lost count of our catch rate. No kokes; largest fish was my son's at 16'. If you want to do really well put just a morsel of Powerbait on the end of your crawler jig combination. Fished in 15 feet of water with 6-7 inches of ice. Very few people at Devil, but yeah the storm was not too nice.

Hope everyone did well.

Wow! Devil Creek must be great if the fishing is that hot at 3pm! Thanks for the report and way to go on fishing through the storm!
