Pat and I got out on this very foggy morning for some scouting and crappie fishing. The water was raging. 110,000 cfs or so and falling water. The fish have been treated like a yo-yo for the past 2 weeks and they are scattered and timid. We didn't find a concentration of fish, but only loners here and there. Very difficult fishing conditions.

We didn't catch many in the short time that we had, but we caught some quality fish. We had 5 at least 13 inches up to 13.75. One on a bluff, 3 in a creek, the rest on docks. Water is stained. We used 1/16 oz jigs and panfish assassins on the deeper water and I used 1/32 oz on the docks and had success with that weight jig. Pat also caught my pet drum, but wouldn't let me take a pic of it. emoBigSmile One more tiny yellow bass and that was it. I think that we had 12 crappie total. Better days are coming. emoBigSmile emoGeezer
