Sat. Ribgy Lake Report
#1
I fished Rigby Lake for two hours on Sat. I think it is slowing down but there are still fish in there.

I set up by 7:00AM. I didn't get a bite until 8:30. Then I caught 9 before I had to leave at 9:00AM. They were hitting extremely light and seemed to prefer pink paddle bugs tipped with nightcrawler.

I think part of it is just waiting for a school to swim by. I caught all of my fish while I was looking at them on the Vex. When I caught one there were more down there. When I wasn't catching anything it was really barren.

Thats how its been the two times I've taken my daughter out there. wait for 45 min without any fish then three poles get hit at once. I wish they could turn that into a year round fishery.

Could you post a picture of the "paddle bugs"? I was in to Sportsmans here in Twin Falls and they did not know what a "paddle bug" is and neither do I.

Here is a link to Cabelas for a kit that has Paddle Bugs. If you zoom in on the kit, they are the plastics on the left side of the box.
