Fishing is quite good for kokes;its OK diehards to fill your trucks and go out; it will not be a waste. My son and I did very well. Most know how to fish for them, so no need to give details.

The essentials:
1. 12' ice.
2. 10-11' kokes
3. Boatramp as always.
4. 2-3 at a time no large schools.

PM if you want more info.

I am trying to decide what to do for Sat. Choices being, small perch, small kokes, or maybe a few bigger trout....

I will probably be at Mackey on Sat. I have never fished there, but I am craving some kokes.

I fish there alot . Find 40 to 45' deep water straight out from the boat dock . I usually fish just north of the permanent shacks . The bite will be very light . I use a spring bobber just like I do for Perch . Good Luck . Curt G.
