thanks for the reply, I went up twice in the first of month, was slow but caught a couple of good fish, when I cleaned them out there stomachs were empty, no craws nothing, first time I have seen that. went up once since then, and could not buy a bite. here is a picture of one of the fish.

Welcome to BFT I'm relatively new here too. I live within about a half hour from Island Park Reservoir and I can honestly say I have never ice fished there. In the past everyone I have talked to says it's usually pretty slow so I usually opt for a more productive spot sometimes three times as far away. The reports from earlier this year sounded good though. You'll have to tell me if you have any luck out there.
