Fished Roberts yesterday with some friends we fished about three hours and caught a dozen perch that were around 6." Those were the big ones. We caught a whole bunch of 3" perch but it was a challenge finding jigs small enough for them. The perch are still alive and well there although there are not near as many filletable perch as there were last year. We caught four trout as well.

Hey, you are a celebrity!!! I saw your interview in the Post Register. There was a big write up about Roberts Gravel Pond.
While there are still fish in there it is definitely not normal. Here is hoping it comes back for the kids next year.
Merry Christmas

Rob called to ask what I thought about the Roberts pond and any issues. I liked that he reported it from all sides leaving lots of room for thought, discussion and different points of views!

Thanks for the update Windriver! I will be out there one morning, but I am actually thinking strategy, and I have some tiny tear drops and shrimpos that hopefully will work. I have to fish Roberts never have missed a season out there.

I have the best luck with the tiny tear drops when the fish are small as well.
