We drove in on the first sportsmans access coming from the freeway and stopped at the first parking lot with a restroom . We droped of on the right side . It looked like the best trail to get the sled down . We fished in the corner , just right of where you get on the ice . If you have ice cleets for your shoes take them . There was a lot of clear slippery ice . Everyone was catching fish . We had a lot of very light bites that were hard to hook . Curt G.

we were there too, but we fished just east of the boat ramp and then moved to the far northeast point for the end of the day, it was pretty fast fishing for us all day but no lunkers all our fish were from 10-16". its been hard to beat the fishing there other than they are a tad on the small side. But i guess the quanity makes up for the quality. The best part of the trip was this little bugger pulled my pole in the hole, i had to drill 10 or so holes around the one it took it in and luckily i jigged the pole up and she was still hooked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you get to the boat ramp . Where I was it was tough getting my gear back up that steep hill to the parking lot . Curt G.

Deep creek was slow today 12/27. Seemed like every group of people were catching some fish, but not very fast. It was cold enough with a slight breeze that you had to clean the ice out of your holes every couple of minutes.
Thanks to the person who came and dug our holes with his Christmas present, it was a gas auger and he dug about 10 holes in five minutes. I can't wait till my Icegator shows up!
