mallardecho, Tims Ford, Smallies, 1-3-10

The temps warmed up enough to go this afternoon for a while, it was 22 when I put in and a NW wind about 10-15 and high bluebird skies, 2 out of 3 ain't bad for conditions. Didn't take long to find a few smallies willing to play and they had moved up shallow today only 20' . Have been catching them at 35'. Put 3 Keepers in the boat at 2 diffrent stops, decided to try some diffrent areas as I was just enjoying the weather and the day on the water, found several more fish on the H'bird in a couple of really good spots that I will check this coming week. Decided to head home early as the daughter is coming in tonite. Temps was still 22 when I got in the truck, and the ramp at the dam is very close to being unusable from the low water.
