We hit the lake from Sullavans @ 9 this mourning. The rain was slow and steady. We ran down to Bennett lake and threw cranks and rattle traps. Water temp was 41. Not a single bite! No one else on the lake either but a couple of duck hunters and I don't think it was a great day for them either because we never heard a shot. We headed up to Mullins to continue our casting pratice. Wes got a couple of bites that didn't produce. All and all it was a wet cold mess! My wife called and asked if we were really fishing or just trying to get pnuemonia when I couldent come up with a straight answer it must be time to go. Wes maybe next time! emoBang
