We tried some deeper holes for sauger today. Saw plenty of bait on the graph and possibly a few saugers trailing them in 30'+ but no takers. Scouted out some different places today with the high sun hoping to find something. Did find some water temperatures near 44 F. Got into the channels again and even found a school of small "
eyes&quot; (drum) and plenty of stripe. Caught all of them we wanted and my buddy Nick had fun catching him enough kitties for supper. We must have culled at least 30 before catching him 7 in the 4-6 lb. range that he thought would fillet out nicely. All caught on sonars (blades). Nice day to be out though.
