Went down to the Big G today to see if any of the bass had come up yet. Still spilling water through Watts Barr, so the sauger are still off. Great day to be out -- temperature was 60+ late this afternoon. Had plenty of company on the water. Boats everywhere. Fished from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm --- caught all of one fish. We fished in Mudd creek and Town creek and everywhere in between ---on the river and in the creeks. Water temp was 44 at 10:30 this morning. Water temp was 49 when we left. Did find water that was 51.5 way up in Mudd creek (past hwy 72 bridge) but no fish wanted to eat. We threw xr50's in various colors, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, small crankbaits, and a worm for a while. The fish that we caught came on a xr50 chartruese color in 5.5 ft of water out in the middle of town creek. We saw two boats catch one fish each in that area -- that was it. At the ramp when we left the most anyone had caught was 2. Better days will come
