So I went out both Sat. and Sun. and did not catch a fish either day. Threw jigs, rattle traps, and crank baits. Fished shallow and deepish. Water temp was around 42 ish on Sat. and 43 ish to 44 ish on sunday depending on how close you were to the main channel. I hope this make some of you feel better, oh wait me not catching fish tells nothing about the conditions. Fished the entrance to browns, across from browns, entrance to mullins and across from mullins. I told both guys that fished with me that I was going to keep fishing down there until I find where the fish are,but after a weekend like this I almost want to go back to the chick, or maybe fish for crappie. I did get my boat stuck as crap just down river from browns lake. I was on the same side of the river fishing the drop near the sunk boat. Well I get a phone call. The wind was really pushing us toward the shore at this time, so I was on the trolling motor staying away from the shallow . Well somewhere in that short phone call I realize my trolling motor just hit dirt. I hang up rapidly, but it was too late, stuck on the bar. TRied the big motor, throwing muddy water. but boat would not budge. So Lefty and I get out of the boat and push it off the bar. 43F water is really cold when you are in it. We could get about 10 to 20 steps and then the cold was just too much, we would get back in the boat and warm the legs and toes for a second and do it again. Third time in the water we finally got the boat back to deep water. I have gotten close to stuck there before, but the wind and current were just right for my cheap trolling motor and we ended up in a bad way on Sunday.

Thought you all might like to know there is a much worse fisherman than you out there. Its me
