Man what a bad couple days of fishing on the Big-G. The cold front moved in and the water temp dropped from 3 to 4 degrees. I had clients yesterday and today and was able to catch a few fish but nothing like the last couple weeks. We also fished a lot of new areas but also with no success. We were able to catch a few yesterday with 1 three pounder and today we were able to get 1 four pounder. I was also able to get out by myself this evening and got a few small fish with one big fish to come off but no consistent pattern. Both days we fished in 4 to 6 ft. of water with x-calibur rattle baits with various colors and also threw a jig and a grub with the same results. Did I forget to mention that it was COLD, and not only cold but cold wind also. Anyway it will be an interesting weekend for the local tournaments, Good Luck.
