Fishing machine, chick, crappie, 2/26/10, friend

Doug and myself headed north early this morning to see if I could put him on some good crappie fishing. (it was very cold) I'm used to running in my pontoon boat @ 20 MPH and I can put up with the cold but in his Bullet @ 70MPH I like to have froze. emoEek I'm ready for warm weather( emoDance )<br /> Back to crappie fishing, I guess we caught around 60 crappie or more, we still just had three keepers. (I guess I've lost my touch) I know I haven't been doing much fishing in the last six months but have you guys caught all of the big ones ? emoScratch I need to call Drumking and Polo and see why all the crappie that I'm catching have health problems, their eyes are too close to their tails. emoBig emoBig I know 60 crappie on a COLD and WINDY day is not bad but this is two trip in a row with a total of 4 keepers. emoBang If this keeps up, I'll have to start back trash fishing (bass) just kidding guys. emoBig By the way, I think the trip back to CFP was colder than going out.
