I had a few minutes and figured I would go out on the dock and see if there were any crappie that would bite. The bite was slow but did catch 5 in a little less than a half an hour. All little guys. I did take a couple of pics but don't have the camera with me here. If I have the time I will up load them later today. They were all caught on a brushpile next to the creek channel on a South facing bank in WT. All were caught on a 5 or 6 count on PAs and 1/32 oz jigs.

I had spoken yesterday with another CFF regular and saw him in his boat farther up the creek while I was fishing. As I fished I kept hearing his motor cutting off on him. He finally got near to my dock and I called to him. He could barely keep it going while idling. It was late in the afternoon and getting close to 6pm and I had to be downtown at 7 so I told him if he needed a tow that I would have to do it right away. I had he and his dad get into the boat and I towed him to the WT ramp. It was too bad that they had the problem but it was really nice to spend some time with them as I hadn't really had a chance to talk with either of them ever before other than to yell across the water. I ran my boat back to the house, ran up the stairs, threw on a clean set of clothes and hopped in the truck. I was there at 7:02, just a couple of minutes late but well worth it. Too bad that it takes a broken down motor to get some of us together from time to time.
