Crappy Fishing

So I've heard there are crappie in Lake Mead but never seen anyone post anything about them on hear. Is the crappie fishing any good? Think I heard someone mention that they're better up in the Overton

Stripers beat the hell out of the crappie population in the 80's but they are still out there. Right now they are in the backwater areas. Look for rockwalls and drop offs that overhang. You could also find them in the overton arm right now where the virgin/muddy rivers run into the lake.

Thanks for the tip. Was just curious how easy it would be to get some other type of fish on my line seeing how the stripers don't seem to be too enthused to bite. I've only caught 1 so far, gone fishing about thrice a week since the new season started
