Launched out of Mudd Creek this morning. I had never fished up there before so i tried several different places. I started off at the ramp and noticed 2 out 3 boats started there too. So I moved out toward the river and fished the creek channel and caught 3 as I found a little patch of grass. If I laid them end to end I might have had a keeper. Ended up catching 3 more not much bigger. I was just happy to catch a fish after zeroing in the 1st CFF TX. I caught fish on shallow cranks, traps, and texas rigged craws. I had several bites on the craws but they seemed to just be tapping at it and I didn't have any other colors with me to try and see if that would have helped.
